Nirmal: A special awareness program was held at TGWRS in Sarangapur Mandal, Jam village on Tuesday. The event was organized by the She Teams and aimed to educate students about important safety topics.
During the program, students learned about laws that protect women, the role of She Teams, and issues such as human trafficking, eve-teasing, and crimes under the POCSO Act.
Students were encouraged to stay off social media, concentrate on their education, and report any suspicious or dangerous situations by calling the police at 100. The speakers stressed the importance of both safety and education.
The event was attended by Sarangapur Sub-Inspector Srikant, She Team in-charge SI Persis, She Team members Radhika and Rajitha, and Bharosa staff Sukanya and Uma Bharati. A total of 393 students participated in the program.
