Hyderabad saw the South Indian Cultural Association (SICA), a leading cultural group in the twin cities, hold its Annual General Body Meeting. This event took place at Hotel Venkateshwara in Lakdikapul on Saturday. During the meeting, members reviewed and approved the audited financial report for the previous year. Plans for the Annual Art Festival 2025 were also a key topic of discussion.
The organization announced its new Managing Committee team. Dr. S. Chakravarthy will serve as President. S. Jabamani, S. Gopala Krishnan, B. Ch. Subbarao, and Dr. KV Ramana are the Vice Presidents. Justice C.V.N. Sastry joins them in this role. S Ranganathan was named Secretary, with M Seetarama Sarma and K.N.D. Murthy as Joint Secretaries. B. Sudhindra Kumar takes on the role of Treasurer, while N Sreelatha will assist as Joint Treasurer. The committee also includes members like Dr. P. Raghu, K.S. Rao, GV Panduranga Gupta, Srinivasan, Dr. K.N. Prasad, P Ramasarna Sarma, Shyamala Chirravuri, and Lolla S. Murthy. Nelaturi Rajasekhar will serve as an advisor to the group.
