The project functions similarly to a hydroelectric plant. A dam, about 2,350 meters long and 23 meters deep, will be built for water storage. This reservoir will hold 9.64 million cubic meters of water, with 8 million cubic meters designated for pumping. The project is expected to cost approximately Rs 3,000 crore.
