During the Sri Krishnashtami celebrations in Gokule Nagar, Ramanthapur, a tragic event occurred. Six people died due to electrocution. Musharraf Farooqui, the head of the Power Department, visited the location to examine the accident. He explained that an internet cable accidentally touched an 11 KV power line. This caused electricity to flow through the internet cable, which then made contact with a chariot in the procession, leading to the deadly incident.

Farooqui promised to inform the government about the incident and take necessary actions. He announced that all internet cables in the area would be removed immediately. The dangerous electric wires would also be fixed. He mentioned that similar precautions would be taken citywide as preparations for the upcoming Vinayaka and Durga Mata Navarathri celebrations begin.
