Hyderabad’s transport office made headlines by collecting over Rs 65 lakh in a single day through fancy vehicle number auctions. The Khairatabad RTO organized this successful bidding event that attracted numerous buyers.

Business owners and individual collectors competed fiercely for premium registration numbers. The auction demonstrated strong market demand for personalized vehicle plates in the city.

The star of the auction was registration number TG09H 9999, which commanded an impressive Rs 22.72 lakh. Honor Prime Housing LLP secured this coveted four-nines combination, making it the day’s most expensive purchase.

At the opposite end, TG09J 0003 sold for the minimum amount of Rs 1.15 lakh to GSR Constructions. This created a significant price gap between the highest and lowest bids.

Several mid-range numbers attracted substantial investments. M/s Dandu Energy Pvt. Ltd. paid Rs 6.80 lakh for TG09J 0009, while Sai Silks Kalamandir Ltd. acquired TG09J 0006 for Rs 5.70 lakh.

Godavari Fortune secured TG09J 0099 with a Rs 3.40 lakh bid. Srinidhi IT Space Pvt. Ltd. obtained TG09J 0001 for Rs 2.60 lakh, showing strong interest in single-digit endings.

Entertainment company Niharika Entertainment purchased TG09J 0005 for Rs 2.40 lakh. Individual buyer Rohith Reddy Muthu paid Rs 1.71 lakh for TG09J 0018.

Kondavarapu Srinivas Naidu bought TG09J 0007 for Rs 1.69 lakh. Meenakshi Power Pvt. Ltd. acquired the double-seven combination TG09J 0077 for Rs 1.41 lakh.

The sequential number TG09J 0123 went to Akula Madhuri for Rs 1.19 lakh, rounding out the successful auction results.

Transport officials highlighted that these online auctions consistently generate significant revenue for the department. The regular events have become popular among Hyderabad residents seeking unique vehicle identifiers.

The strong bidding reflects how personalized number plates serve as status symbols in the city. Vehicle owners view these exclusive combinations as investments in their personal brand and social standing.
