SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has achieved a significant milestone in the QS University World Rankings by Subject, announced on Wednesday. The university climbed 88 places to secure the 280th position in Engineering & Technology.
In addition to this achievement, SRMIST has been ranked in 11 subjects, the highest number of subject recognitions in its history. A notable highlight is the inclusion of Mathematics for the first time, placing the university in the 451-500 rank band. This recognition reflects SRMIST’s growing academic excellence and depth.
Prof. C. Muthamizhchelvan, Vice-Chancellor of SRMIST, expressed his pride in this achievement. He stated that the recognition is a result of the dedication of students, faculty, and staff. He further emphasized that this success motivates the university to continuously improve its teaching methods, research, and learning approaches to meet global standards and contribute positively to society.
