A significant amount of weapons, ammunition, and war supplies were found in Manipur’s Churachandpur district on Sunday. The Indian Army, Assam Rifles, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), and Manipur Police collaborated in this operation based on specific intelligence. They successfully seized 15 firearms, including 14 improvised mortars and a single-barrel weapon, along with other military materials.
Another operation took place on September 15 in Thoubal, where more arms and ammunition were discovered. Assam Rifles and Thoubal Police searched the area near Kwarok Maring and found a 9mm carbine and other war-related items.
All the confiscated items from these operations were handed over to the local authorities.
