Hyderabad: Telangana PCC working president Jagga Reddy urged people, especially in the Telugu states, to support Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition and Congress leader. Rahul is challenging the Election Commission over BJP’s alleged vote manipulation. Reddy believes Rahul is right to question the Election Commission’s actions.
Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan, Reddy accused the Chief Election Commissioner of following a script by BJP and RSS. He claimed the Election Commission did not investigate the issues raised by Rahul Gandhi.
Reddy stated that the Election Commission acts like an RSS follower, and through RSS-linked groups, fake votes were created. He emphasized it’s the Election Commission’s duty to address these concerns. Once trusted, the Election Commission now seems to align with BJP’s strategies.
He accused the BJP and RSS of manipulating people’s rights and rigging elections with fake votes. According to him, BJP won for the third time using these tactics. He mentioned that the Constitution grants the right to vote, but in remote areas, fake votes were strategically added to ensure BJP’s win.
Reddy also expressed doubts about Modi‘s third term as Prime Minister, suggesting that over 40 MPs’ votes might have been fake. He accused BJP of targeting Rahul Gandhi’s family and trying to undermine Ambedkar’s constitution. He claimed BJP harbors ill intentions towards Rahul’s family.
He compared AP politics to brothers at a toddy shop, with BJP as the shop and Chandrababu and Jagan as the brothers. He criticized them for being subservient to BJP. Reddy questioned if former CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is a BJP leader or an Election Commissioner, accusing him of merely following BJP’s script. He also mentioned Purandeswari, despite being NTR’s daughter, as following BJP’s direction.
Reddy concluded by praising the courage of Congress members, including the Komatireddy brothers.
