Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy visited the famous Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. This ashram is known as the home of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. During his visit, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes to Gandhi and took time to reflect on his life and message.
Mr. Reddy showed great interest in learning about Gandhi’s lifestyle and the values he followed while living at the ashram. He asked questions about Gandhi’s daily routine and the importance of the ashram during India’s freedom struggle.
As part of the visit, the Chief Minister also looked at the charkha, or spinning wheel, which was used by Gandhi. He even tried spinning the wheel himself to understand its historical meaning. Later, he participated in a prayer session at the ashram, showing respect for the peaceful and simple life that Gandhi promoted.
This visit highlights Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s admiration for Gandhian values. It also reminds people of how Mahatma Gandhi’s ideas still inspire leaders in today’s Indian politics.
