    Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy paid tribute to former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birth anniversary. He highlighted Shastri’s values of integrity and humility, which continue to inspire the nation.

    Revanth Reddy praised Shastri for his famous slogan, “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan,” which means “Hail the Soldier, Hail the Farmer.” This slogan remains a powerful symbol of India’s strength and unity.

    The Chief Minister spoke about Shastri’s journey from being a freedom fighter to becoming India’s second Prime Minister. He noted how Shastri worked closely with Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Reddy described Shastri’s life as a reflection of honesty and simplicity, qualities that define true leadership.

    As the country remembers Shastri’s contributions, Revanth Reddy encouraged people to be inspired by his legacy, especially his dedication to the welfare of farmers and soldiers.
