Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Requests Central Support for Global Events in Hyderabad

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in Delhi. He sought the central government’s support for the state’s long-term development under the Telangana Rising vision for the next 25 years.

During the meeting, CM Revanth Reddy discussed Hyderabad’s role in hosting several major international events this year. These include the Miss World pageant, the Global Deep Tech Summit, the Bharat Summit, and IndiaJoy, which highlights Telangana’s strengths in animation, gaming, VFX, and entertainment.

The Chief Minister requested diplomatic support from the External Affairs Ministry to help make these events successful. He also asked for greater promotion of Telangana Rising in Indian programs held abroad.

Minister Jaishankar responded positively, recognizing Telangana as a fast-developing state and Hyderabad as one of the world’s fastest-growing cities. He assured that the Ministry of External Affairs would provide the necessary support for Telangana’s international efforts.

The meeting was also attended by former Union Minister Salman Khurshid and Members of Parliament Anil Kumar Yadav, Dr. Mallu Ravi, and Chamal Kiran Kumar Reddy.
