Telangana’s Revenue Minister, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, highlighted the state’s focus on development, crediting the progress to the people’s support. During a ceremony for a new road project, he assured that the government will continue its development work without interruptions. He emphasized that the Congress government is devoted to the welfare of its citizens.
Reddy stated, “With CM Revanth Reddy’s guidance, we aim to solve public problems efficiently.” He pointed out that while the former BRS government offered Rs. 10,000 as a farmer’s guarantee, the current government increased it to Rs. 12,000 and distributed Rs. 9,000 crores in just nine days. He also mentioned the issuance of 7 lakh new ration cards to help the disadvantaged and vowed that all eligible poor individuals will receive an Indiramma House.
Additionally, he announced improvements in education for economically challenged students. The plan is to establish integrated international schools, replacing inadequate facilities such as hostels in old chicken farms and rice mills. Reddy stressed that the Congress government is placing farmers’ welfare at the forefront, noting the end of protests and the implementation of the Bhubharat Act.
Reddy criticized the central government for creating a urea shortage in Telangana. He expressed disappointment over their lack of attention to the state’s needs and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to quickly restoring urea supplies.
