The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is ramping up its investigation into the Phone Tapping Case. Former SIB chief Prabhakar Rao is expected to attend questioning at the Jubilee Hills Police Station today at 11 a.m. This will be his fourth time meeting with SIT officials.
PCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud is also set to give a statement today as a witness. Reports indicate that Goud’s phone was tapped by Praneeth Rao's group, which had access to data from 400 compromised phone numbers.
Saritha, who previously served as the Gadwal ZP Chairperson and ran as a Congress candidate in the last elections, will meet with the SIT as well. Additionally, Praneeth Rao is scheduled for questioning on Wednesday.
