    State Board Schools in Telangana Will Start Summer Holidays from April 24

    Students across Telangana are looking forward to their summer break, which is just around the corner. Most schools that follow the State Board syllabus will begin their summer holidays on April 24.

    For students in Classes 1 to 7, their final exams—also known as Summative Assessment-II—will be completed by Thursday. This marks the end of the academic year for them.

    Students in Classes 8 and 9 will finish their final exam, Social Studies, on April 17. That will also be their last day of school for the year.

    The Education Department has asked all schools to complete a few important tasks before the holidays begin. These include handing out report cards, announcing final results, and holding a parent-teacher meeting. All these activities must be completed by April 23.

    After that, the summer vacation will officially begin on April 24 and will continue until June 11. Schools will reopen on June 12 for the new academic year 2025–26.
