Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is working on improving temples in the Kodangal assembly constituency. He recently held a meeting to discuss this and asked officials to implement effective plans.
The focus is on enhancing Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy temple in Kodangal, Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Daulatabad, and the Shiva and Venugopala Swamy temples in Kosgi. A proposal to develop the historic Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy temple in Kodangal over six acres, similar to TTD, received approval. Officials showed the CM proposed designs for the temple’s enhancement, including areas like Prakara Mandapam, Mada Veedhulu, Bhu Varaha Swamy temple, Garbhagudi, and Maha Mandapam.
CM Revanth Reddy also reviewed plans for Daulatabad and Kosgi temples. He suggested constructing impressive stone structures for these sites.
Chief Secretary L Ramakrishna Rao, Principal Secretaries Seshadri and Srinivasa Raju, Secretary Manik Raj, Endowment Department Commissioner Venkat Rao, Vikarabad District Collector Prateek Jain, and Kodangal Area Development Authority Special Officer Venkat Reddy attended the meeting.
