NAGARKURNOOL: A tragic car accident occurred in Nagarkurnool district on Sunday, leading to the death of three people and seriously injuring one person. The crash happened in the Nallamalla forest area of Amrabad mandal.
The car, which was traveling at high speed, lost control and hit a tree. The victims were all residents of Hyderabad’s Bollaram area and were on their way from Hyderabad to Srisailam.
Police believe the driver might have fallen asleep due to early morning fatigue, causing the accident. Three of the occupants died instantly, while the injured person was quickly taken to Sunnipenta Hospital.
Authorities arrived at the scene and transported the bodies to Achampet Government Hospital for post-mortem examinations. The accident led to a traffic jam on the highway, but the police managed to clear it.
The families of the victims have been notified, and there were emotional scenes at the Achampet hospital mortuary as they arrived.
