Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the BJP’s campaign in southern India with a roadshow in the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency on Friday. The roadshow will start at Mirjalaguda Crossroads and end at Malkajgiri Crossroads, where Modi will address the people at 3 pm.
The Prime Minister will also address a public meeting in Nagarkurnool on Saturday, and on Sunday he will speak at a joint meeting of the TDP-BJP-Jana Sena alliance in Chilakaluripeta before returning to Hyderabad. He is scheduled to hold a large public meeting in Jagtial on March 18.
The BJP leaders have mentioned that Modi’s visit to Telangana is just the beginning, with more roadshows and public meetings planned in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu in April. The party aims to win at least 10 seats in Telangana, and a total of 30 seats from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu combined, along with another 15 seats from Karnataka.
Modi’s decision to actively participate in the campaign is driven by the party’s goal of winning a significant number of seats in the upcoming elections. The BJP has already announced its candidates in these states and is now gearing up for an intensive campaign.
The Prime Minister will follow a pattern of addressing public meetings in different states on consecutive days. For example, if he speaks in Tamil Nadu one day, the next day he may address a public meeting or participate in a roadshow in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, or Karnataka.
