Hyderabad:
The police have issued a traffic advisory for Sunday due to the ‘Hyderabad Runners Marathon Run.’ This marathon will start from People’s Plaza on Necklace Road and end at GMC Balayogi Stadium in Gachibowli. The traffic restrictions will be in place from 4:30 am to 10:00 am.
The marathon route will pass through several key locations. It will start at People’s Plaza, and then go through NTR Marg, Tank Bund, Children’s Park, Sailing Club, Budha Bhavan, Sanjeevaiah Park, and return to People’s Plaza. The route will also cover areas like Khairatabad, Raj Bhavan Road, Somajiguda, Punjagutta flyover, MJ College, SNT Junction, Sagar Society, KBR Park, Jubilee Hills Checkpost, Road No 45, and the Cable Bridge.
To manage the marathon, the police will impose traffic diversions along the route as needed. They have requested that citizens avoid the marathon route and take alternative roads to reach their destinations to prevent traffic jams.
