Choutuppal/Bibinagar: After the Dasara festival, many people headed back to cities, causing heavy traffic on major roads. Schools and colleges reopening on Monday added to the rush. The Hyderabad–Vijayawada National Highway saw severe congestion, particularly near Choutuppal, with traffic barely moving for kilometers. The situation worsened from early Sunday morning and lasted until midnight, especially for those heading to Hyderabad.

Traffic and civil police worked hard all day to manage the chaos. The weekly market in Choutuppal made things more difficult for drivers and pedestrians.

Similar traffic jams occurred on the Warangal–Hyderabad National Highway near Bibinagar mandal. At the Gudur toll plaza, vehicles lined up over two kilometers from Swarnagiri, with traffic moving slowly late into the night. For three days, highways across Telangana were packed with post-festival travelers, causing major inconvenience and requiring intense police efforts to handle the situation.
