    In response to heavy rains, the Chairman and Managing Director of TSTRANSCO & TSGENCO, along with the Director (Transmission) and TSGENCO officials, have reviewed the transmission and generation situation in the State. They have instructed all field engineers to be present at their headquarters in case of any emergencies. Central Break Down Gangs have also been prepared in all EHT Substations to handle any emergencies or breakdowns.

    All power generating stations are functioning normally and have sufficient coal stocks. The decision to start hydel generation will depend on the inflows into Krishna Basin. The CMD has assured that all TS Power utilities are well-prepared to handle any situation and are taking all necessary measures to ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the State. Engineers and staff have been instructed to be alert, vigilant, and prioritized emergency work.
