Hyderabad: State Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy praised voluntary organizations for hosting tournaments on professional cricket pitches at international stadiums.
The Elite Cricket League tournament’s jersey and trophy were unveiled by him at a preparatory event held at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Banjara Hills. This tournament will take place at Uppal Stadium on October 9 and 10, under the Chamala Foundation‘s support.
Chamala Uday Chander Reddy, the foundation’s founder, announced that the tournament will feature six teams. These teams include film celebrities, politicians, media personnel, police, corporate members, and TV actors.
The event promotes the messages: ‘Save Water, Save Earth’, ‘Say No to Drugs’, ‘Clean Hyderabad’, and ‘Donate Blood, Save Life’. Proceeds will support the families of army martyrs.
