Hyderabad: Challa Vamshi Chand Reddy, a special invitee of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), has been given a significant task by the All India Congress Committee (AICC). On Thursday, he was made responsible for coordinating the selection process of District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents nationwide. He will also gather feedback on their performance and organizational effectiveness.
AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge has appointed him to manage the appointment of DCCs across the country. Vamshi Chand Reddy, who is a former Kalwakurthy MLA and has served as an AICC secretary, will oversee the appointment and performance evaluation of DCC presidents.
After receiving the confirmation, Vamshi Chand expressed his gratitude on social media. He thanked Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Rahul Gandhi for trusting him with this role. He also expressed appreciation to KC Venugopal for the opportunity to work under his guidance. Vamshi Chand promised to fulfill his duties with honesty and commitment.
