During the visit, they interacted with poor villagers who do not have houses and listened to their problems. The MLA emphasized that the survey must be carried out carefully to ensure that eligible individuals from poor families benefit from the housing scheme.

Veerlapalli Shankar criticized the previous BRS government for failing to deliver on its promise of providing double-bedroom houses to the poor. He stated that the Congress government is prioritizing the welfare of the underprivileged and working to meet their needs.
