Hyderabad: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has announced a protest on Saturday across the state. The protest is to condemn the recent killings of Hindus and to demand better protection for the Hindu community.
VHP National Spokesperson Ravinutala Shashidhar and State President B Narsimha Murthy spoke to the media on Friday. They accused the West Bengal government of playing vote bank politics and failing to protect Hindus.
The VHP leaders said the protests would take place in all district headquarters. They plan to submit letters to the District Collectors, asking them to forward these petitions to the President of India. The group is also calling for President’s rule to be imposed in West Bengal.
