Vivek Venkataswamy, the Minister, recently met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He was joined by his family for the visit. During their meeting, Vivek and his wife showed appreciation by presenting the Chief Minister and his wife with a shawl and a bouquet.
Vivek expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for the chance to serve in the cabinet. The meeting involved a friendly and productive conversation. CM Revanth Reddy reminisced about his connections with the late Gaddam Venkataswamy, affectionately known as Kaka.
The Chief Minister also held talks with Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna during this time.
In the new cabinet allocation, CM Revanth Reddy assigned Minister Vivek Venkataswamy to lead the Mining Department, a sector vital to the state’s economic growth. Additionally, he received responsibilities for worker welfare, employment, and training programs.
These roles reflect Vivek Venkataswamy’s background and political heritage. His family has a rich history in labor-related roles. His late father, Gaddam Venkataswamy (Kaka), was the Labour Minister in unified Andhra Pradesh from 1978 to 1982 and later at the Union level. His elder brother, Gaddam Vinod, also served as Labour Minister under the YS Rajasekhara Reddy administration from 2004 to 2009.
With this legacy, Minister Vivek Venkataswamy continues his family tradition by overseeing significant ministries related to Employment and Mining in Telangana.
