Woman and Her Lover Kill Mother and Sister Over Relationship Dispute in Hyderabad

A shocking crime took place in Lalaguda, Hyderabad, where a woman and her lover allegedly killed her mother and sister because they opposed their relationship.

The accused have been identified as Lakshmi, a 40-year-old railway employee, and her partner Aravind, 45, from Uttar Pradesh. Lakshmi had secured her job after her father’s death in 2018. Her mother, Susheela, had four children—three daughters and a son—none of whom were married.

According to the police, Lakshmi was in a relationship with Aravind. However, her mother, Susheela, and her elder sister, Gnaneshwari, did not approve of it. An argument broke out between them, during which Aravind attacked Susheela, hitting her on the head. She died on the spot, and Aravind fled the scene.

Susheela’s youngest daughter later discovered her mother’s body and immediately informed the police. Authorities arrived at the scene, took the body into custody, and sent it for post-mortem examination. They also launched an investigation into the crime.

During their inquiry, the police found CCTV footage showing Aravind running away, leading them to start a manhunt. As the investigation progressed, Lakshmi made a shocking confession—she and Aravind had also killed her elder sister, Gnaneshwari, two days earlier. They had dumped her body in a water sump.
