A tragic accident occurred near Begumpet Metro Station in Hyderabad on Monday. A woman named Prasanna lost her life, and her father, Shankar Rao, was seriously injured when a tempo vehicle collided with their motorcycle.
Prasanna died at the scene, while her father was critically injured. Shankar Rao, who is an SPF Sub-Inspector, lives in Manuguru, Bhadradri Kothagudem district. He was on his way to a hospital when the accident happened.
The accident caused significant traffic disruption on the Begumpet-Punjagutta stretch. The congestion extended for up to a kilometer as emergency services worked to clear the wreckage from the road.
