    Women leaders have taken a prominent role in the ongoing election campaign, showing their active participation and support for their husbands. In an event on Sunday, supporting Mahbubnagar Congress candidate Vamsichander Reddy, his wife Challa Ashlesha Reddy organized a significant campaign in the Kothur, Keshampet, and Shadnagar areas. Joining her were Shadnagar MLA’s wife Anuradha, MPP Priyanka Goud, ZPTC Thandra Vishala, and Town Councilor Vishala.

    This move comes amidst a strategy by the Congress party to attract women voters by prioritizing women’s issues. While DK Aruna, campaigns for the Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress has emphasized the importance of women in their campaign. The women leaders conducted door-to-door campaigns, engaging with voters, distributing leaflets, and addressing the concerns of small business owners, leaving a lasting impression on the voters.

    Meanwhile, BJP candidate DK Aruna has also been actively campaigning, particularly targeting women voters. Vamsichander Reddy and MLA Veerlapalli Shankar have involved their wives in the campaign, which has added to its success. Ashlesha Reddy highlighted the Congress party’s focus on women’s issues, citing benefits such as free home electricity, subsidized gas, and free bus travel for women, urging voters to support the Congress and reject the BJP.
