A boiler explosion occurred at Alkaloids Bio-actives Private Limited in the Medchal industrial area on Tuesday afternoon. The incident happened when the boiler overheated, causing excessive pressure.
The blast sent hot steam and water onto a worker named Srinivas Reddy. A section of the wall also collapsed, injuring him. He suffered injuries to his face and other body parts.
Co-workers quickly transported him to a nearby hospital. Doctors are currently monitoring his condition closely as he receives treatment.
Medchal police are conducting an investigation into the accident.
