The chances of **spot crypto ETFs** being approved this year are now rated at 90% or higher. Analysts predict that **XRP, Solana, and Litecoin** are likely to get the green light. The **SEC** is actively communicating with issuers, indicating a positive stance towards these ETFs.

**Solana, XRP, and Litecoin** are leading the pack with a 95% probability of ETF approval. Other altcoins like **Cardano, Dogecoin, Polkadot, Avalanche**, and **HBAR** are also looking strong with a 90% likelihood. However, **SUI** trails behind with only 60% odds due to regulatory uncertainties and the absence of a futures market.

The rising odds reflect increasing confidence among ETF experts following the **SEC’s** acknowledgment of multiple filings and requests for updates. This progression signifies a step forward in the approval process. Betting markets like **Polymarket** are optimistic, giving a 98% chance for an **XRP** ETF, 91% for **Solana**, and 71% for **Dogecoin**.

The **SEC** has acknowledged the ETF filing for **XRP**, backed by **Grayscale, Bitwise**, and **Franklin**. A final decision is expected by October 17. Analysts are positive about approval as **XRP** is viewed as a commodity with **CFTC**-regulated futures. **Solana** is also a strong contender with a deadline of October 10.

According to analysts, the approval of these ETFs is not a question of “if” but “when.” The exact launch dates remain uncertain. The recent actions of the **SEC** indicate a pro-crypto shift, prompting asset managers to enter the scene. However, replicating the success of spot **Bitcoin ETFs** will pose a challenge.

**Nate Geraci**, President of the **ETF Store**, foresees 2025 as a breakthrough year for **crypto ETFs**. He anticipates the approval of spot **crypto ETFs**, including staking for spot **ETH ETFs** and in-kind creations/redemptions. **BlackRock** is also expected to enter the competition for **Solana** and **XRP ETFs**.

The **US SEC** has taken a significant step towards altcoin ETFs by approving the **Nasdaq Crypto US Settlement Price Index**, encompassing **SOL, ADA, XLM**, and **XRP**. This development sets the stage for potential spot ETF approvals for these altcoins in the near future.
