    The Yadav community in Hyderabad is demanding political parties to give tickets to their leaders based on their population in the state. A meeting of various Yadav organizations was held in Nagole to discuss this issue.

    The grandson of BC Reservation provider Suraj Mandal Yadav called for the Yadavs to come together and strive for power. He stated that Yadavs make up 20% of the country’s population and it is important to have a Yadav leader as the Prime Minister. He expressed concern that Yadavs in Telangana have minimal political representation despite making up 18% of the population.

    Animal Husbandry Minister and member of the Yadav community, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, mentioned that the government has been working sincerely to support Yadavs. They have appointed five MLAs and one member of the Rajya Sabha from the community. Many Yadavs have also been given opportunities in local bodies. The minister announced the allocation of five acres of land worth Rs 400 crore in Kokapet for Yadav welfare.

    The minister emphasized the need for more programs for the welfare of Yadavs in the next five years and assured that Yadavs have become partners in the state government. BJP Election Committee chairman Eatala Rajender stated that the party will prioritize all BC and MBC castes, including Golla Kurumas, in the next election. He also highlighted the importance of conducting a BC census in the state.

    Former MP and Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao urged all BCs to unite and strive for statehood, drawing inspiration from the movie ‘Balagam’. Chalakani Venkat Yadav, State president of Yadava Vidyavantula Vedika, released the ‘Yadava Declaration’ on development and political representation of Yadavs. Several other leaders from the Yadav community were present at the meeting.
