Gadwal is moving forward with healthcare improvements. On Wednesday, District Collector B.M. Santosh emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing medical services. He, along with Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy and Alampur MLA Vijay, inaugurated new facilities at the Government General Hospital.

The hospital now has a foundation for a Liquid Oxygen Tank and Vaporizer, a CC road, and a waiting shed for CT scan patients. Collector Santosh highlighted the importance of these enhancements for better healthcare.

A new oxygen plant, costing ₹2.65 crore, was built with government funds to ensure a steady oxygen supply for critical patients. A waiting hall for elderly and pregnant patients near the CT scan area cost ₹8.90 lakh. Other improvements, like roads and fencing, were made for ₹10 lakh. Additionally, ₹40 lakh from DMFT funds were used for hospital upgrades.

MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy stated the government’s dedication to offering modern equipment and emergency services. He thanked the Chief Minister and Health Minister for establishing Telangana’s first Liquid Oxygen Plant at the Gadwal hospital.

With the new ₹2.65 crore oxygen plant, all 300 beds now have constant oxygen supply, reducing the need for transfers to Raichur or Kurnool. Residents now receive advanced treatments locally. Future developments will continue to modernize the hospital and improve district-wide healthcare.
