Heavy rains cause disruptions in Telangana, schools closed in several districts

Heavy rains have caused major disruptions in several parts of Telangana. As a result, schools in Karimnagar, Jagtial, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts are closed today.

The intense rainfall has made life difficult, especially in the Karimnagar area. In Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, overflowing streams and canals have prompted officials to announce that schools will make up for the holiday on the second Saturday of next month.

Schools in Kamareddy and Medak districts are also closed due to the bad weather.

BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) expressed his concern and is in touch with party leaders in the affected regions. He has instructed them to be ready to provide help. K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has been directed by KCR to ensure party members assist those impacted by the floods.
