JNTUH recently organized an important meeting at UCESTH to plan for future growth and explore international academic partnerships. K Vijaya Kumar Reddy, the Rector, and K Venkateshwara Rao, the Registrar, led the session. Other key attendees included Principal G V Narasimha Reddy, Vice-Principal A Raghuram, department heads, and university directors. The meeting started with a thorough review of the college’s academic and lab facilities, aiming to enhance both institutional strength and student learning experiences.
Later, JNTUH engaged in an online session with officials from the University of Isfahan, Iran, led by Rasoul Roknizadeh, the President and Head of the Board of Directors. During this session, K Venkateshwara Rao highlighted JNTUH’s academic achievements, research strategies, and infrastructure capabilities. The main goal was to establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for student and faculty exchanges and joint research projects.
This initiative follows a diplomatic meeting held last month. Mohsen Moghaddami, Vice Consul, and Fatima Naqvi, Public Relations Officer from the Iranian Consulate in Hyderabad, met with JNTUH Vice-Chancellor T Kishen Kumar Reddy. Those discussions successfully set the stage for potential academic collaborations with the University of Isfahan.
