The District Revenue Additional Collector K Sitarama Rao instructed that paddy with 17% moisture content should be bought and transported to mills by trucks promptly. He visited purchase centers in Kollapur, Machinenipalli, and Pentlavelli to ensure farmers face no difficulties in collecting their paddy.
During his visit, Rao promised facilities at the purchase centers, including tarpaulins to keep the paddy dry and gunny bags to transport it to the mills. He emphasized the importance of farmers bringing completely dried paddy to the centers to avoid any damage due to rain.
Rao also urged farmers to monitor weather conditions and plan accordingly when bringing their grain to the centers. He assured that necessary resources would be provided to ensure smooth operations and timely transportation of the purchased paddy.
