Suryapet: District Collector Tejas Nandlal Pawar has suspended Assistant Executive Officer (AEO) Balakrishna from Tungaturthi in response to accusations of misbehavior towards female colleagues.
Reports indicate that Balakrishna sent inappropriate messages and made late-night calls to women employees. One woman shared that the harassment through calls and messages led to her experiencing anxiety and depression.
Despite informing other officials, the harassment reportedly persisted. The woman then sought help from a human rights organization, demanding action against Balakrishna and another official named Murali.
The Collector took the allegations seriously, suspending Balakrishna and promising strict action against anyone guilty of workplace harassment, especially against women.
