The Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA) is collaborating with Science Gurus and the University of Hyderabad (UoH) to organize a workshop on “Artificial Intelligence for Pharma and Biotech.” The workshop will take place from December 11 to 16.
The workshop aims to showcase recent advancements and technologies in the field of AI, with a focus on their applications in understanding diseases, drug discovery, therapeutic candidate development, clinical trials, and more. Renowned global experts who are leading the way in developing and utilizing AI across various domains will be the main speakers at the workshop.
The workshop will cover the basic concepts of AI and how it is being integrated into the research and development processes of the pharma and biotech industry. It will also highlight the instrumental role of AI in enhancing efficiencies at each stage of drug discovery and development, supported by real-life case studies.
One of the highlights of the workshop will be a showcase of innovative AI-based startups, with the best startup receiving a prestigious cash prize award. The workshop aims to create an innovative and collaborative environment for startups and demonstrate the broader impacts of AI integration on the pharma and biotech sectors.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on training, learn from expert panels, and connect with representatives from AI startups. The workshop is expected to provide a comprehensive view of the latest breakthroughs and innovations at the intersection of AI, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.
According to FABA executive president Prof P Reddanna, the workshop will be a transformative experience for participants.
