The International Women’s Day celebrations were held in a grand manner at the Ambedkar Universal University Study Center, located in the Government Degree and PG Science College in Nagarkurnool. The event was organized under the guidance of College Vice Principal Vanitha and Women Empowerment Officer Umadevi.
As part of the celebrations, different competitions were conducted for students. Later, a special program was held where faculty members and students spoke about the significance of Women’s Day. Ambedkar Open Degree students highlighted that women should have equal opportunities in all fields, just like men. They also stressed that both family and society must support women’s progress.
During the event, female faculty members and students joyfully cut a cake to celebrate the occasion. They exchanged greetings and shared the cake among themselves.
The event was attended by College Principal Anjaiah, Ambedkar University Study Center JACT Prasad, faculty members, students, and other staff members.
