Union Home Minister Amit Shah will now focus on Telangana, which will have elections on May 13. Shah is expected to visit the state soon, as per the state BJP chief G Kishan Reddy.

Before Shah’s visit, BJP National General Secretary Sunil Bansal will be in Telangana on April 21 and 22. The party is prioritizing door-to-door campaigns over large gatherings or meetings, with about 70 percent of households already covered across the state. Campaign activities will continue in a structured manner until May 13.

Reddy mentioned that BRS MLAs switching parties has caused people to lose faith in BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao. The party is facing allegations of phone tapping and a liquor scam, but KCR and his son KTR are not acknowledging the situation. Reddy criticized the pink party for losing credibility and struggling to save deposits in the Lok Sabha elections.

Even after the Election Code is lifted on June 4, Reddy expressed doubts about the promises being fulfilled. He strongly denied allegations made by Revanth Reddy that the BJP took bribes in exchange for bailing out Kavitha in a Delhi liquor scam. Reddy emphasized that corruption is ingrained in the DNA of the Congress party and that both BRS and Congress are two sides of the same coin.
