Andhra Pradesh Road Accident Claims Lives of 6 State Farm Workers from Narasaraopet

Six women farm workers died and seven others were injured in a car accident in Narasaraopet. The accident happened when a lorry crashed into the auto they were traveling in. The women were on their way to Pulipadu village for work. The lorry driver did not stop after hitting the auto. Five women died on the spot, and one died in the hospital. The injured were taken to a private hospital for treatment. The deceased were identified as Islavati Manjula, Bhukya Padma, Padiya Sakri, Bhukya Soni, and Malavat Kavita. Banavat Parvati died while undergoing treatment. A police case was registered, and an investigation is underway.

The DSP said that the lorry driver was responsible for the accident, resulting in the loss of six lives. The SP visited the hospital to console the family members of the deceased and instructed officials to conduct postmortem as early as possible. The police were directed to take stern action against the accused responsible for the accident and prevent such accidents in the future by setting up warning boards on the highway and stepping up highway patrolling.
