The Telangana Chamber of Events Industry (TCEI), one of India’s largest regional events associations, held the ‘TCEI Event Excellence Awards 2023’ ceremony today at the Hall 2, HITEX Exhibition Centre. The event recognized event organizations and professionals for their exceptional contributions and leadership in the industry.
Several guests of honor presented the awards, including Dr. Chinnam Reddy S from the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Vishala Reddy Vuyyala from Millet Bank, Dr. S Shantha Kumari from Yashoda and Honorary Treasurer of FIGO Hospitals, and Rosi Reddy, a retired IRS officer. The awards were given to outstanding event professionals in a glamorous ceremony.
Balaram Babu, President of TCEI, spoke at the event and mentioned that TCEI is celebrating its ninth year and has over 450 members. They have formed alliances with many regional associations as part of EEMA India and are part of 21 associations across the country. The number of entries for the awards has significantly increased compared to previous years.
The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was given posthumously to Dr. Neeraj KS Thakur, former General Secretary of TCEI, for his immense contribution to the event industry. The Greenko Group, promoters of Formula E-World Championship Race in Hyderabad, received the Kohinoor Award, and Asim Varma from Glamarizers was honored with the Jade of Hyderabad award.
The TCEI Event Excellence Awards celebrate entrepreneurs in the event industry who have made outstanding contributions. Presented by Carnations Weddings, this highly anticipated award ceremony recognizes brands and individuals who have excelled in the field of events. The awards have two categories: “Pearl of Hyderabad” for top performers in Telangana and “Gem of India” for the best performers nationwide.
