Adilabad – Dr. Visharadhan Maharaj, the State Convener of the BC SC ST JAC, has criticized the Congress government for ignoring the needs of farmers and failing to improve market yards.
During his visit on Friday to Both Mandal Center in Adilabad district, Dr. Maharaj toured the Area Hospital and the Agricultural Market Yard. He met with local farmers and listened to their problems.
As part of his ambitious 1 lakh kilometer Rath Yatra, Dr. Maharaj is traveling across the state to highlight the struggles faced by the farming community. He said the government is not showing any interest in strengthening market infrastructure that supports farmers.
He emphasized that poor facilities at agricultural markets are forcing farmers to suffer losses. He urged the government to take immediate action to support the agricultural sector and protect farmers’ livelihoods.
Dr. Maharaj’s visit brought attention to the long-standing issues in rural areas and called for stronger policies to help marginalized communities and improve basic services.
