The Deputy Chief Minister announced that farmers would receive free solar pump sets, sprinklers, and drip irrigation systems under the Indira Giri Jal Vikasam scheme. This initiative, linked to the ROFR Act, has a budget of Rs 12,600 crore over three years.
Some MLAs were noted for delays in submitting proposals for road construction. The government has allocated Rs 20,000 crore for building roads.
He reassured farmers that there is enough urea available and highlighted the success of the Indiramma housing scheme.
Plans were encouraged for women’s groups to raise fish fry in every district. He praised Vakiti Srihari for his valuable experience as the new district in-charge minister, emphasizing his contributions to the region’s development.
Flood levels in the Godavari are normal, with no warnings issued. Authorities are to begin relief efforts, ensure life jackets are available, and keep a control room open until the rains end.
During Vana Mahotsav, officials were instructed to distribute useful plants to communities. Data on plantings, costs, and survival rates over the past decade were requested for review.
For education, the establishment of integrated schools on 25-acre plots was proposed. These schools should set high standards. Students in welfare and Gurukul programs must receive quality meals, and regular medical check-ups are necessary during the rainy season.
