BJP Accuses Congress of Breaking Promises in Telangana

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a large bike rally in Shantinagar to draw attention to the Congress government’s alleged failure to deliver on its promises, even after a year in power. The rally criticized Congress for not implementing its “six guarantees,” which the BJP claims have resulted in “66 frauds” that deceived the people of Telangana.

BJP's Rally and Key Criticisms

After the bike rally, a meeting was held at the Vasavi Kanyakaparameswari Kalyana Mandapam with BJP District President S. Ramachandra Reddy as the chief guest. During his speech, Reddy accused the Congress government of betraying various groups, including women, farmers, and pensioners. He pointed to unfulfilled promises like the Mahalakshmi scheme, Gruha Jyothi scheme, gas subsidies, Rythu Bandhu bonuses, and pensions for the elderly and disabled.

Reddy also criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of dragging the state into debt and being unfit to lead.
