The State BJP in Hyderabad has set a goal to secure at least 50% of the votes in each polling booth for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This decision was made during a meeting of State office-bearers and Parliament candidates.
During the meeting, chaired by Union Minister and TS party chief G Kishan Reddy, details were shared with the media by BJP Legislature Party Leader A Maheshwar Reddy. Other attendees included Parliamentary Board member Dr K Laxman, national vice-president DK Aruna, national general secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar, national general secretary and Telangana in-charge Sunil Bansal, and other leaders. They discussed the action plan and strategies for the election.
The party aims to win all 17 LS segments and believes that people want to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for a third term. The leaders feel that Modi provides stable and strong leadership, which has helped the country’s economy grow. They plan to reach out to women, youth, and all sections of society to explain the decisions made by the Modi government.
To achieve their goals, the party has planned to visit each house under every polling booth twice to engage with youth and women for their support. They will also hold ‘Tiffin Bitak’ on the party’s foundation day in each polling booth. Street-corner meetings with small gatherings will be organized in every Assembly constituency, where local and district leaders will address the attendees.
Polling booths will be classified into categories A, B, C, and D, with steps taken to strengthen them. The election management committee in each Assembly constituency will meet regularly to review the implementation of the plan and make necessary adjustments. The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) will focus on reaching out to young and first-time voters to create awareness about the Modi government’s initiatives.
Additionally, the party plans to highlight the failures of the Congress government and its inefficiencies during the campaign. They will inform people about the anti-people policies and decisions made by the government.
