Hyderabad: The call centre set up by the BRS to help farmers with loan waivers is receiving a lot of attention.
The party leaders said they got 25,000 applications within just 24 hours of starting the centre.
On Monday, the party created a special cell in their office, Telangana Bhavan, for farmers. This is for those who have Pattadar Passbooks and have not had their loans of Rs 1.5 lakh waived. They also provided a WhatsApp number to report this to the government.
Senior party leader S Niranjan Reddy shared the WhatsApp number 8374852619 for farmers. He said if farmers send their details, party leaders will take the information to the government and assist the farmers.
The party leaders mentioned that they received more than 25,000 calls and applications in response to the call centre.
