The BRS party filed a complaint on Wednesday against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for violating the Model Code of Conduct. They also lodged a complaint against a vernacular newspaper editor for publishing unverified news and against a BJP X page.

BRS leaders K Prabhakar and D Sravan submitted a complaint to the Chief Electoral Officer, asking for action to be taken against CM Revanth Reddy. They claimed that the CM had made disrespectful remarks about their party chief, K Chandrashekar Rao.

According to the BRS leaders, a vernacular newspaper falsely reported that ten BRS leaders were involved in phone tapping without confirming the information. They also pointed out that the BJP’s official X page had posted a message accusing them of fraud. The BRS leaders requested the Election Commission to instruct the BJP to remove the post immediately.
