Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy is rumored to be joining the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party. However, this news has not been well-received by some BRS leaders who are unhappy with this development. About 200 BRS leaders and activists recently met with Minister Harish Rao in Hyderabad to express their opposition to Jagga Reddy’s inclusion in the party.

During the meeting, they accused Jagga Reddy of betraying the Telangana movement and winning the MLA seat by making false promises and deceiving the people of his constituency. They claimed that Jagga Reddy had shown no concern for the people of Sangareddy during his time as MLA.

The dissatisfied BRS leaders warned that if Jagga Reddy is allowed to join the party, it will have negative consequences. They suggested that former MLA Chinta Prabhakar be given the opportunity to contest from Sangareddy in the next election instead. Despite his defeat in the previous election, Chinta Prabhakar has been recognized as a dedicated public servant who has consistently worked for the welfare of the people.

The BRS leaders further stated that they would support Prabhakar K if he is given the MLA ticket for Sangareddy.
