The Health Minister of the Netherlands, Jan Kuipers, visited NIIMS Hospital in Hyderabad. He was greeted by Hospital Director, Dr Birappa, and OSD Gangadhar. During his visit, Kuipers examined the oncology, urology, and dialysis departments and inquired about the care provided to the patients in these units.
Kuipers expressed his happiness in seeing the hospital firsthand and having the opportunity to interact with the staff and students. He mentioned that he had heard good things about the hospital and plans to learn from the services here, possibly implementing similar methods in the Netherlands.
