    The Silk of India Handloom Expo 2024 is a special event celebrating India’s rich handloom heritage. It is hosted by Bengal Handloom Art and is taking place from August 26th to September 4th at the Kalinga Cultural Centre in Hyderabad.

    The event was officially opened by Classic Mrs. India Ratna Mehera and Tollywood actress Sahruda Fruityy. They were joined by the organizers, Somnath Bowmik and Abhijit Shaw, during the inauguration.

    At the expo, visitors can see the beautiful work of over 50 master weavers from different parts of India. The event features a wide variety of handwoven textiles, including Banarasi sarees, Bhagalpuri silk, and Mysore silk, among others.
